I got to learn both the deep theological truths of God’s Word, and also the practical ways of applying these truths to everyday Christian life.

Prayer & Support

Prayer

In all that takes place in the Irish Baptist College is predicated on being prayerfully dependant on our gracious Heavenly Father. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain (Psalm 127). It is therefore vital that our supporters join us in prayer. The Friends of the College updates are the best way to remain informed and up-to-date with the latest prayer needs. However, there are some generic prayer points which are always relevant:

  • Pray that both the students and staff would be grateful for the privilege of studying and teaching at the Irish Baptist College. It is a blessing from God and we wish to continually acknowledge this reality.
  • Pray that God would continue to provide the College with the resources, staff, facilities, students, and financial support necessary to continue serving the churches of the Association.
  • Pray that graduates would soon find opportunities to serve God in gospel service.

Pray Without Ceasing

We have created a new resource to help you (and your church) to pray for the College. Each day of the week we take a different element of College life, or group of people, and give you a prayer request and a verse. We would love you to make use of this! You can download a copy here or email registrar@thebaptistcentre.org to get some copies posted out to you.

Financial Support

The College seeks to maintain fees at a reasonable level to ensure that training is accessible to all those who wish to study. However, this means that we depend on Churches and individuals to supply approximately one third of our ongoing running costs. Follow the links to see how you can help us achieve this:
